I didnt do it!!

Trying to get a boy of any age to admit to doing something naughty...whether it be hitting a brother, taking a toy, or eating their mothers chocolate...The answer I get every single time is "I didn't do it"

And now Jake who is 2 has learnt that "I didn't do it" is the answer to everything no matter what the question!

So as I sit here and ponder the goings on in a child mind and what makes them do the silly things they do, I can hear Noah telling his nan...that he didn't take her glasses hahaha

A classic example of the "I didn't do it" syndrome would have to be Bailey telling me he didn't spill the blue food colouring all over the bathroom...it doesn't matter that his hands, face and body were covered in it..."he didn't do it"..

Kid free day

How I miss them...but today was one of those rare occasions where I got to sit down and eat my lunch without having someone crawl all over me...wanting to eat my food...or poking me in the face or pointing out how fat my belly is getting!!

So today was to put in one word Bliss!!!

On the down side to today my dear friend Karen told me she has applied for a visa to live in  London..
Makes me really sad, we have just reconnected after a few moves we lost contact,  and now I'm losing her again, well in a few months anyway.

She was there for the birth of Will and we worked together (well should say played together at work) for a few years also..

So now I'm back in reality the kids are screaming and fighting...one is nagging me to have a hit of tennis...
It was nice and blissful for the 4 hours!

52 days

till Christmas!!! but who's counting  ME!!

I went shopping today to try and get some ideas for Santa presents, but I cant think of anything for the 3 younger boys?? What do you  get a boy who has everything?? and if he doesn't have it then his older brother does!

So I'm starting to panic...I ask the boys what they want and they tell me things their brothers already have so there is no point in doubling up on things, Jake tells me he wants a new purple dummy!! hmmmm ok your done hahaha

This would have to be the downside to having  a family all the same sex...if there was a girl thrown in the mix she would have been covered... dolls...dolls and more dolls!!!

So I have 52 days to come up with an idea!!

He is growing up

So my baby is 3 in January where has that time gone?? It makes me want another baby but I know that will never happen so I will have to be content with my 5 devine boys!!

So I had Jake's hair cut the other day after having EVERYBODY say how beautiful she is!! and after my lovely mother nagging me to death...I caved in and got it cut...and I hate it he has lost his spunk if that makes sense and now looks like a 3 year old instead of my baby..

So today we have had nothing but screaming coming out of his mouth...how can such a beautiful face make such a horrible noise I will never know..

And after I put him in the naughty corner he screamed at me " Good on ya mum" hahahaha he truely is the devil I'm sure of it..

I know it doesn't look like a lot has been taken off but we took at least 2inches off!!
And at this stage that's all this mummy could handle...it may be another 3 years before we cut it again..who knows :P

Simple things

Its hard to believe that such simple things make the boys happy like a packet of balloons...Jake has had endless fun

Our beauiful dog Patton the boys adore him and spend endless time with him

We picked some flowers for nan today as a thank you for everything she does

So all up our day cost $2.50 not bad for entertaining 4 boys...

3am delights

So I woke this morning to the sound of little feet running through the kitchen at 3am!!
I go to investigate who and what it was.... only to find Noah and Bailey sitting up in the lounge room playing the PS3!!!

In my nicest grumpy voice I ask what they are doing??

Bailey's response " Chill mum we are playing the game"

How could I respond  to that without laughing!

This is why I have chosen this career....its never boring!!

Six years ago today

Who would have thought that my tiny little human who was in such a hurry to get here would be turning 6 today!!



So 6 years ago today I gave birth to Noah James on our kitchen floor with just the help of my very panicked mum and hubby who really thinks HE delivered Noah but hung for a minute I was the one on the cold floor screaming through every contraction  while he was up and down asking where the ambulance was hahaha



I can laugh now because its all a faint memory but at the time I was so scared I didn't think I could do it and what if something was wrong with the baby there was no one there to help!! but it all worked out after 38 minutes of labour our beautiful 7lb 11oz baby was born ..



I must share this little bit of the story tho after Noah was born and I was lying down trying to soak in what had just happened, Ted decided to get up and WALK AWAY WITH THE BABY STILL ATTACHED TO ME ! Um hello where do you think your going?? hahaha

We still laugh about it this day (well I do)



So as my big 6 old is fast asleep I will sneak in and give him a big kiss from his very proud but emotional mumma..
